Manager – IT Service Assurance (AI & Telecom)

We’re supporting a leading telecom company in the Netherlands in hiring an IT E2E Service Assurance Manager with a strong focus on AI-driven operations. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in keeping millions of people connected, while driving automation, predictive assurance, and service resilience using AI and machine learning technologies.
You’ll operate at the intersection of technology, operations, and impact—combining service assurance expertise with automation and AI innovation to drive measurable outcomes for both the business and its customers.
Your Day-to-Day
- Oversee end-to-end monitoring across IT and network services (OSS/BSS, RAN, Core, Transport).
- Lead major incident coordination, root cause analysis, and preventative measures.
- Manage KPIs like uptime, churn, NPS, and ARPU—ensuring technical performance supports customer experience.
- Translate service health metrics into executive-level insights and reports.
- Collaborate across teams in IT, Network, Commercial, and Operations.
- Champion the adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI to enable predictive monitoring and service automation.
- Ensure compliance and SLA governance, contributing to operational excellence.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation, backed by resilient processes and a collaborative culture.
What you bring
- 8+ years in telecom IT operations or service assurance (across mobile and fixed domains).
- Strong experience across OSS/BSS, CRM, billing, and telecom infrastructure systems.
- Hands-on with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Netcool, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
- Familiarity with AIOps platforms like Moogsoft, ServiceNow AI, BMC Helix, or Dynatrace.
- Deep understanding of ITIL v3/v4 (certification preferred).
- Proven ability to use AI/ML for event correlation, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance.
- Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
Bonus if you bring: Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), TM Forum frameworks, PMP/PRINCE2, or data/analytics credentials.
