IT Service Assurance Manager – AI & Telecom Operations

We’re supporting a fast-moving telecom company that keeps millions connected. In this high-impact operational role, you’ll help ensure business-critical systems run smoothly, 24/7 — from mobile and fiber infrastructure to the digital platforms behind them.
This is an individual contributor position (not a team lead role), ideal for someone who thrives on real-time service ownership, vendor coordination, and translating technical data into business impact.
Your Day-to-Day: 24/7 Operations, Resilience & AI-Driven Insights
- Monitor IT & network performance across OSS/BSS, RAN, Core, and Transport
- Take ownership of KPIs like MTTR, SLA, incident volume, service uptime — and connect them to business KPIs (NPS, churn, ARPU)
- Coordinate major incidents, lead RCA, and manage vendor/service partners
- Collaborate with stakeholders across tech, commercial, and CX
- Translate service metrics into insights that inform executive decisions
- Leverage AI/ML tools for anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and root cause analysis
- Drive AI-enabled automation and AIOps adoption to reduce MTTR, boost efficiency, and optimize customer experience
- Support compliance with SLA reviews, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation — supported by automation and resilient processes — to safeguard 24/7 service continuity
What You Bring (and What You’ll Grow Into)
- Experience in telecom IT operations or service assurance (typically 8+ years)
- Confidence working with service KPIs (uptime, MTTR, SLA, NPS, churn, ARPU)
- Knowledge of OSS/BSS platforms and experience coordinating vendors
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Zabbix, Netcool, SolarWinds)
- Hands-on exposure to AIOps platforms (Moogsoft, ServiceNow AI, BMC Helix, Dynatrace, Splunk)
- Interest in applying AI/ML in IT operations or service assurance
- ITIL knowledge (certified or hands-on)
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, including at executive level
- Fluent in English (Dutch not required)
