Site Reliability Engineering Manager

We’re supporting a leading telecom provider in hiring a Manager IT SRE Operations—a leader who combines technical depth with curiosity and empathy. You’ll guide how reliability is delivered across OSS/BSS, CRM, billing, and digital platforms, helping teams build systems that are stable, scalable, and customer-focused.
This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role focused on application operations. You’ll lead efforts to improve uptime, observability, automation, and incident response for some of the most critical systems in the business. The impact is real: the work you do will shape digital experiences for millions of customers.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize how reliability is achieved—through SRE practices, automation, and AI-driven insights. Along the way, you’ll help strengthen a culture that values learning, ownership, and trust.
Your Day-to-Day: Operations, Reliability & Collaboration
Lead reliability and incident management across OSS/BSS, CRM, billing, and digital platforms.
Support and develop a team of 5–10 IT Application Managers and engineers focused on service performance.
Apply SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs), automation, and AI/ML tools to improve stability and recovery times.
Translate technical KPIs into business outcomes and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
Partner with product, network, and customer operations teams to drive end-to-end reliability.
Lead continuous improvement across incident response, monitoring, and automation practices.
What You Bring (and What You’ll Grow Into)
12–15+ years in IT operations or SRE, including at least 9 years in a telecom environment (required).
Strong background in application operations for telecom systems such as OSS/BSS, CRM, or billing.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
Calm and structured leadership under pressure, especially during complex incidents or escalations.
Clear communication skills and the ability to connect technical and business perspectives.
English required; Dutch is not required, but a willingness to learn is welcomed.
Certifications in ITIL, SRE, cloud, or Agile are a plus.
